That is GREAT. However, I'm kinda wondering if you'll have dust issues, and are you sure you want multiple openings? I thought you wanted the case closed so you could control the cross-ventilation.
You are right, my tv recorder HOL has turned into a giant home for dust bunnys and needs some regular vacuum treatment.
It is also not possible to have a very controlled airflow but that is not much of a problem, I have had good results with a slow fan for the CPU and another fan blowing directly onto the hard drives. At the same time the heat from the tv cards (freaking hot!) can go out easily through the openings of the case.
I thought about changing the setup into a case inside the case but I like the open appearance of the Hol and decided to keep up vacuuming my box once or twice a year.
well, I have not noticed anymore dust compared to the old good metal computer case.
Whenever! I opened my old computer case I felt to make a big cleaning.
So, it is nice to have a HOL PC - it is easy to clean, it is easy to change all components of a PC quick and last but not least, I have a HOL and not an ugly computer case in our living room.
There is still a second computer in the room, but all the cables are going through HOL - so, another advantage :)
