welcome to the guinea pig palace

saskia transformed an aneboda wardrobe into a guinea pig palace!

she writes, "what can we do with an aneboda wardrobe? we can turn it over into a beautiful guinea pig palace! i used three aneboda wardrobes for my guinea pigs home. for the left most wardrobe i cut the doors in half, so i have some space to hide my guinea pig stuff."

Holy Cow! I counted at least NINE guinea pigs! If I had that many, I would need to set up something like this as well.

My question is, what about cleaning? How do you keep the urine and feces from damaging the "wood."

This is my guinea pig palace and I'm very proud it's on this website!

I've used linoleum on the bottom of each floor and at the back wand I've used adhesive plastic. This makes it easy to protect urine for gettin in the wood and it's easy to clean!

I like the idea :) and I suppose you've done your research on these little fellows as well but why are each guinea pig housed separately if they are social animals?

but this is cool to look at :)
