trash can turns into photography light tent

tanya takes a wastepaper basket and turns it into a photography light tent, with good results too.

"my hack is a fniss wastepaper basket camera mount for doing macro photography. i call it the 'trashcanulator 2000', with the '2000' added simply to sound more pompous."

the camera is mounted on a l-shaped plywood frame for stability.

look at a sample!

see instructions on building your own fniss light tent on tanya's blog.

I have a few of these in my room, one for waste, one for recycling etc.

I also take photos and one thing I have been doing is using the white translucent one pictured as a flash diffuser and I have been bouncing my flash in my coloured ones to give the light a tint. very cool stuff.

I like how Tanya has hacked the bottom of the bin! gives me ideas for flashes.
