Dotted Regolit lamp shade
The Regolit lamp is just made for hacking. You can make it shaggy. You can stick cocktail umbrellas on them. Julia opts for a simpler solution to match the lamp to the curtains.
She says, "I bought a pair of curtains at Ikea, a couple of month. I just fell in love with the pattern. So I had the idea to make a pendant Lamp to match with it. It was very simple, the Regolit paper shade has this handmade irregular structure line that reminded me of the lines of the curtain pattern, so I painted dots of different sizes and colors just as on the fabric pattern. Watercolor painting is perfect for this kind of translucent paper. In the end, it looks a bit like a constellation on my bedroom ceiling as well as providing a lovely soft light."

That lamp shade turned out so nice. Looks great! Great Hack!
I hope you have a deep blue couch to go with it, or something. Otherwise, that room would be so bland!
But since your photos aren't arranged in a boring grid, I'll just assume you do.
Nice blog you got here, the name tricked me, but I'm currently moving, and I might get some ideas, specially form my kid room. The lamp is really cool, and that will be my first project, he he...
Unfortunately, the only thing that comes to mind is that the dots look exactly like the mold samples we grew in biology...

Play nice. Be appreciative of another's efforts. Don't say anything that you won't say in front of your mom or daughter.
